Ford EcoSport Performance

To live up to its name, the Ford EcoSport offers two engines that are designed to deliver a sporty and efficient drive. The base engine is a 1.0L EcoBoost® I-3 that gets up to an EPA-estimated 27 city and 29 highway MPG.

The second powertrain offers a more athletic drive. The available 2.0L Ti-VCT 4-cylinder generates up to 166 horsepower and 149 lb-ft of torque.

Front-wheel drive comes standard, but Intelligent 4WD (4-wheel drive) is standard with the 2.0L engine. Both engines come with a 6-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission.

Convenient Cargo Room & Passenger Space

The Ford EcoSport makes it easy to pack up and unload. Not only does it feature more room than meets the eye, but it also lets you get closer to your cargo with a standard rear swing gate. The trunk features 20.9 cubic feet of space, but you can more than double your cargo room by folding the second-row 60/40 flip-up and split-fold-flat rear seats down.

The EcoSport also offers room to stretch your legs. There’s seating for five and 91.1 cubic feet of passenger space to relax in. Comfortable cloth seats come standard, while a 6-way power driver’s seat is available to give you more ways to enjoy the drive. You can also give the cabin an open feel with the available power moonroof with sunshade.

Smart Safety Features

The Ford EcoSport also offers technology that can keep you safe. From seeing what’s around your SUV to having an extra set of eyes looking out for you, it gives you peace of mind with driver-assistive features that can help prevent accidents.

For example, Ford Co-Pilot360™ includes Automatic Headlamps with Courtesy Delay that’ll help with driving at night. It also comes with a Rear-View Camera that lets you use your dashboard monitor to get a better look at what’s behind you when you’re backing up.

These features come standard on every EcoSport, but additional safety features, like a Reverse Sensing System, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert, are also available.
